I was asked by a Congleton based charity called Uganda Learn for Life and The Co-operative Group’s Southern Member Relations Committee, to visit a co-operative venture they support, in Uganda.
I went with my photographer friend, Mark Kensett, and our assignment was to meet the co-ordinator of the project, David Sseruwagi and to document how things are progressing for them some 3 years now, into their project.
David is a Pastor of a Church in Nakaseka. A small rural town. He, and his wife Eshter also run an orphanage, a secondary school as well as the Mifunya Saving and Credit Co-operative Society.
